This page is dedicated to my dearly departed cavies as well as one which I had to give away. I am not good with words so I do not intend to write some mushy thing here. Besides, no words can express the sorrow of losing a loved one.

Born on 27 Apr 2000, Fe Fe (pronounced Fur Fur) was bought from Melissa on 2 Sept. Melissa originally named her Mini but I decided to rename her. Fe Fe's a tortoise shell smooth coat & reminds me of a mouse. The top half of her body is white & the bottom half a light brown. Her face has a dark brown patch too.
Fe Fe has the "biggest" nose amongst my cavies and her nicknames were Wheek Wheek, Smurf, Baby, Doggie, Small One, Big Nose & Mouse. She was also the biggest coward of all & was the first to run when the cage door opens. She's also the only one who licks my hand! She enjoyed standing upright to eat from the top of the hay rack & looked like a penguin when she did that! Fe Fe was the second cavy to learn how to beg for food by standing on her hind legs. She was also the hardest to bathe or clip nails for 'cos she never kept still.

Gender: Male
Breed: Agouti Abyssinian
Colour: White & brown
Comments:
I was clearing the cage on 15 Mar 2000 & got a shock 'cos I saw 3 cavies! Oreo had given birth & neither Melissa or I knew she was pregnant. I saw him grow from a tiny little furball to his existing size & needless to say, it was a tough decision giving him away but I really had no other choice. I didn't want my females getting pregnant & neutering is too risky. I don't have the time to maintain 2 seperate cages, so seperating him from the gals is not possible. He is just so cute especially when he stretches out & extends his legs as he yawns & exposes his teeth. I fondly nicknamed him "Big Nose" 'cos he has the pointiest snout of my cavies.
My only regret is I wouldn't get to see him when he's a full grown adult. The gal who bought Pikachu on 17 June 2000 was referred to me by Melissa, so I hope she'll take good care of Pikachu.
